"I used to adore this complex. I’ve lived here for years and have loved it so much, recommending everyone I know to move here because it’s been so great. Then the housing market went crazy. We had a change in management and they started essentially forcing people out who had lower rents so that they could increase them substantially, and many of the people who’ve been living here 10+ years could no longer afford it. So I lost a LOT of really good, kind neighbors. Everyone who’s moved in near me now has become a huge nuisance. There’s kids who look like they’re fresh out of high school who’ve moved in so I’m hearing parties all the time now. This place used to be so peaceful and quiet and now it’s so noisy. I have been so unhappy here since this has happened. I know our goal now is to find a house and move out after either this lease is up or my next year’s worth, depending on if I can afford it. I am just so disappointed and frustrated and honestly heartbroken that they’ve ruined what was a beautiful little diamond in the rough."
