Stay away. *EDIT* I'm sure it's a TOTAL coincidence that the review below from Jesse Cronkhite (1 out of 5 in the US, lol) isn't AT ALL related to Tracy Cronkhite, the Office Manager, whom all the negative reviews are about right guys? As a fellow Nebraskan, I appreciate farms as much the next guy, just not the review kind."

"Update 8/28/2023 Just moved out after being a resident for 7 years. Only moved because we wanted a house. Please read the rest of this review as I feel the same today about my stay at Gateway as I depart after 7 years. So i have been a resident at Gateway apartmetns for almost 4 years now. And i was actually shocked at some of the negative reviews people were giving when i looked out of curiosity recently. Although no apartment complex is perfect? I can honestly say this one is my second favorite i have ever lived in. The other was an apartment in Denver Colorado. And since i am now 53 years old. And have lived in apartments all my life. I have seen at least 10 different apartments in my day if not more? And overall Gateway Apartments is a very nice place to live for what they charge for rent. I noted that many people left negative comments about the service from maintenance. And even about the management. I can only speak from my own experience here. But i have had mostly good experiences when i needed something done. I would say they addressed my problem within the same day or within a reasonable amount of time. That being within a couple of days. People need to remember that there is only one maintenance person on staff. And some days can be pretty busy with service calls. Not to mention they must prioritize those calls based on the seriousness of the call. For example, a broken door hing on a cabinet isn’t going to take precedence over a clogged sink or broken toilet..etc. And yes sometimes a service call can be overlooked by accident. I have had that happen at every apartment i have ever lived in all these years. However all it takes is another phone call to the office. Our property manager Tracy has always been very professional and pleasant to talk to since i moved in 4 years ago. And if it were truly as bad as many of these people have claimed? The believe me i would have moved out a long time ago. In all fairness we did have some issues with snow removal my first year here. But they progressively worked on finding better crews to improve the service. And this past two seasons the snow removal has been really good. About the only thing i agree with in these comments is that a notice of entry from maintenance would be nice to have. That way we would know if the work was done as soon as we arrived home. And or he could comment that he could not complete work because parts needed to be ordered..etc? But other than that i have loved living at the Gateway Apartments. I find that Gateway is very peaceful and quiet over all. Neighbors all seem to be very respectful of each other. Nobody making tons of noise late into the night sort of thing? Even on the weekends. The property is very beautifully landscaped and maintained pretty darn good considering there is only one maintenance person. And like i said for what they charge for rent its one of the best values i could find in the Bellevue area. They even have garages you can rent for your vehicle which are also very affordable. I have looked into other places in Pappillion area with comparable amenities and garages. And they are several hundred more a month. Basically if you go west of Bellevue you will not find an apartment as nice as the Gateway for anywhere near what our rent is. Yes they may be much newer. And even have some amenities we dont have. But you definitely will be paying for those things. I also need to note that Gateway Apartment location is ideal for almost anything you need. Schools, groceries, shopping. And super close to freeway so you can cruise to anywhere in Omaha area very quickly from the apartment. Another reason why i have stayed so long here. Also close to car dealerships and other maintenance shops. I often can drop a vehicle off and walk back to the apartment easily within 15 minutes. In closing i would like to say i have really enjoyed my stay here at Gateway apartments. I have finally decided to buy a home. And if I wasn’t in the market for a home i would gladly continue to rent at Gateway Park Apartments."

"DO NOT expect to get your deposit back. As a matter of fact, expect to pay more. Demand a walk through before you move out. Make sure they are not trying to make you pay for previous tenant damage and cleaning. We got burned."

"I moved in here a few weeks ago, and I've had a wonderful experience so far. Tracy, the manager, went above and beyond her duties for a total stranger, me, and that was before I even signed any paperwork. The move in process/paperwork went very smoothly, no problems at all. Also, one of the keys I was given for the bldg didn't work, and there was a problem with the apartment door lock as well. I called maintenance, mind you, this was also on a holiday weekend and on a Sunday, and Patrick, the maintenance guy, came right over and fixed everything that same day. A few days ago, my patio light went out and I couldn't get the covering off. I called the office, left a voicemail, and that day when I got home from work, Patrick had already came and taken care of it! The monthly rent is very reasonable here, and I really like the washer/dryer in my apartment, it saves so much time from having to haul it to a laundry mat. The apartments are so spacious, clean, and plenty of room! Thank you Tracy and Patrick!"

"Moved in about a year ago. We love it. The apartment is very spacious and quite. We can hardly hear any neighbors. Our dog loves the on-site dog park. Anything that needs fixed gets promptly done. Even if a part needs ordered, it still does not take that long. Tracy in the office is very friendly and is always there to help, unless on vacation of course! Snow removal is done in a timely manner, within reason. When is say within reason, I mean it does take awhile to clear things when you just had 14 inches of snow. Peaceful setting with all the trees. Every time we open the windows the birds sing. Rent is also very reasonable for the good quality that these apartments offer. Washer and dryer in the unit, which they provide is wonderful. They also have a nice pool for the summer. Would highly recommend to anyone."
