"I've been attempting to book a couples massage for almost a year. They have called me the day of and cancelled one of the appointments for the fourth time now. Then when we reschedule it's four months out (today's August appointment was rescheduled from our cancelled April appointment). Today the employee hung up on me when I asked them to bump someone else since we get cancelled every time. I did actually go by myself one of the times they cancelled one of the appointments. My massage was very weak and I usually request less pressure but this was zero pressure."
"Although I have been a massage envy member for years, this was my first time trying the Clive location. What an absolute disappointment! It literally weeks of calls just to get on the calendar. The room was cold, so was the lotion/oil. Despite my request to turn up the heated mattress pad, I still left chilled. I requested lighter touch as I do not enjoy a deep tissue massage. I mentioned severe pain in my lower back and in my shoulders and neck area. It felt like a five year old was rubbing my back. One of my main reasons for coming in was for the hand treatment. That didn’t happen. When I mentioned it to the front desk, instead of offering a solution of some sort, she simply said… I wonder what happened? Your therapist must not have seen it on her tablet. I noted it… I’m never a fan of the blame game. And I’m definitely not a fan of this Massage Envy. So much room for improvement here…."
"I personally have availed Massage and Facial services here. They do a nice job and I am satisfied with their service. I’d give a 5 if not for massage where they do not target the whole body for a full 60-minute massage. They target the problem areas after consulting you which is great, but would be an overall great experience if they give a general full body massage too. Their membership option is good and even if you tend to miss a month’s appointment, they accommodate it for you (not many places do that). Their facial services are also must try. I personally felt pampered and my skin looks better just after the first session."
