"I would rate this experience above excellent, it's a wonderful, peaceful, clean with exceptional hospitality, great all the way around. The owners are terrific and make you feel at home. Serenity at its finest! Judy and I enjoyed the night, wouldn't change a thing! Great rooms, breakfast which included Canadian blueberries was great! The Lodge inside and out was beautifully decorated! Absolutely loved it! Darcy it was great visiting with you!"

"What a nice place run by nice people! The rooms were sparkling clean, large and comfortable, with scenic views. Comfortable beds, large kitchen, YouTube TV provided, coffee and tea bar, games and activities stored in the room. My daughter left her jacket and they called us before we were even home to let us know and then mailed it to us ASAP. This is the place you're looking for, enjoy!"
"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lodge. The king bedded room we had was private, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious (my wife wants her french toast recipe and her biscuits and gravy!) This is the perfect gathering place for a family reunion, wedding, or as in our case, a graduation. I highly recommend this lodge as the perfect escape. Darcy makes you feel like family. We will definitely be back."
"My fiance and I stayed here as part of a work trip, and I can say without a doubt that it is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We travel a lot as part of our job, and the level of service, as well as the sheer commitment the staff has to ensuring that your stay is a quality one is unmatched. The lodge itself is incredible, it's close to every major store and restaurant in Red Oak, and every single aspect of the property dwarfs that of major hotel chains. Darcy, Paige, and Jeff were extremely kind and welcoming, and every single day, my fiance and I came back to the lodge with a welcoming smile and peaceful amenities. Not only would I recommend that you stay here, but we are both heading back to the lodge in a few weeks just to enjoy it a little bit more. Thank you Riverbend Heritage Lodge for a fantastic four day stay, and we look forward to many more while we are in Iowa!"
