Sears Appliance Repair

"My experience with Sears Appliance Repair has been HORRIBLE. It took a total of 8 service calls and 69 days to repair my stovetop. The diagnostic was on January 12th. They finally complete the job today on March 21st. On two separate occasions the technicians never even showed up to my home for their scheduled appointments. One time an employee showed up reeking of Marijuana and clearlung missed the memo to puck up the igniter from the parts wharehouse. Also the original technician who came to my home to do the initial diagnostic didn't order all of the parts to fix my stove. He had to have another employee drive to his home to pick up tools because the tools he had were not sufficient to support fixing my stove. Ray then broke one of my igniters as he was trying to fix my stove with tools that were not compatible with my stove.The service provided was unacceptable and shameful. The customer service support is dismal as well. Evette Ackerson from corporate lacks empathy and refused to have someone from tge leadership team cintact me as I had requested. She would not not provide me with an alternate person for me to contact to discuss finding a resolution. I would NEVER recommend this organization and would encourage others to use another company to fix their appliances. Sears did NOT meet the quality standards that one would expect. The only positive experience was the technician Christian. He was communicative and professional. Instead of attempting to cut costs with how products are shipped, Sears should upgrade shipment of fragile parts in boxes instead of using bubble wrap shipping. This apparently is a known issue and no action was done to rectify the shipping of ignitor parts."

"Do tee went above and beyond to fix my fridge. He was great at explaining what he did to it. His customer service was excellent! I will request him personally if I have any other problems!,"

"For insurance purposes I need a receipt. The phone tree doesn't have an option to talk to a person. If you navigate to talk to a sales person, they immediately just return you to the tree that has no option for billing or talking to an administrative person."

"Price gouging. I had the part here. He didn't have to diagnose anything. Just asked to replace the hose, reconnect under the sink, push it in, reattach it back with two screws to counter. And put kick plate back on. The price was horrendous. Found someone else for half the price.sears is ripping me off for $139.00 visit. He didn't have to do anything. I'll never call sears again for repairs. And I will not refer family and friends to Sears. Shame. They deserve no star."
