UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine - Indianola

"I don't want to give such a low review because everyone who works here has always been so caring... except my Dr who I have been seeing for over 10 years. I won't mention his name but It was a surprise to me at my last visit he turned on me and I was very disheartened by how he treated me. He raised his voice, and belittled me and told me to find a new Dr simply because I was not needing to have any of the tests done that he recommended that "people my age should do" Not sure why he is allowed to be so unprofessional. All I did was sit there and say yes, ok, and no but thank you... things like that. But it's his word against mine, that's why he will get away with it. He was so mean, he even deleted me off his list of patients before I even got up to the front desk to schedule my next appt. (like I didnt exist) The only other Dr I have seen at this location was Dr Werling and he was amazing and wonderful! Thank you Dr Werling."

"I tried to establish care here and I cannot believe the care I got from Dr. Lau he doesn't care about his patients he told me that he would not help me with the medication I was already taking. It seems like he gets paid by appointments he was telling me that he won't get to my concerns and that I would need a second appointment it was 4 things and made me feel like I was crazy.... now I'm out my meds and will be suffering cuz of a person who wants to play god.... and the front staff being rude cuz I don't feel comfortable disclosing my identity to complain...."

"Saw Dr. Jensen. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a Dr. In all my years....I will never go back. No bedside manner whatsoever, not a good listener....it was terrible. Had to go to another Dr., which did listen, did care, and did help. My partner sees Dr. Werling in the same office and loves him. I originally tried getting in with him, but he was super busy at the time, so opted for Jensen. After the experience with Jensen, it just didn't sit right. So opted to not go there at all. Werling is popular with some of my family members. If you need to be in Indianola area, and you can get in with him.....he is your best bet."

"We moved to the Indianola area at the end of May and needed to find a new doctor. I was happy there was a Unity Point in town as we went to the one in Waukee before moving. My 3 year old son just saw Dr. Jensen the other day and he was great! He was very personable, wanted to know about my son and our family and was fantastic with my son. We will continue to see him."
