"I received a balance forward bill from several months ago. I contacted my insurance and their records indicated I had a zero balance and had met my insurance deductible. They suggested I tell the billing department to send them a copy of bill and deal with them. The woman in the billing department was beyond rude, she told me I was wrong and I needed to pay my bill and she refused to contact my insurance. She eventually hung up on me. It's mind blowing to me that a patient can be treated this way."

He really takes time with the patient and is always a good listener and answers all my questions thoroughly!!! "Dr. Nelson and the entire staff at CNOS have been great to work with! I had 3 failed total knees in my right leg before going to consult Dr. Nelson. He performed the 4th total knee surgery in my right leg. I haven't been virtually pain free in over 15 years, until Dr. Nelson. It's hard to believe that we have world class surgical talent in Dakota Dunes, SD; but that's exactly what we are fortunate to have! From knees to necks, and every other body part, this group is among the best in the country!"

"Was told at my last appointment to schedule with Dr. Samuelson if my pain doesn't improve, or gets worse. Tried to set up an appointment because my pain has gotten worse, even with surgery and physical therapy, and played phone tag for a few days. Finally spoke with someone who said the portfolio was closed. I had to do more calling around, only to find I have an almost $700 bill that I was not notified of the past few times I've visited, and now I cannot set up an appointment until it is paid in full. They will not work with me on a payment plan. My only other options are Omaha or Sioux Falls, and I cannot make that trip. I'm so disappointed and upset. I wish I never had neck surgery here. It only made things worse! And now they won't see me to rectify it. Also, before I even had my neck surgery, they had me do physical therapy there. The physical therapists just set you on a machine and go away and chat with each other. Didn't help at all. I was also referred across the street for a cortisone injection in my neck. When he inserted the needle, I felt a shooting sensation down my left leg. As he removed the needle, I felt a tugging sensation pulling to the right in my hips. Now, my left foot constantly feels like it's "waking up," which is incredibly painful. I have to take Lyrica twice a day now for my foot to feel normal, which is not good for my kidneys. I honestly wish I would've never gone here so many years ago. They've not helped relieve even 1% of my pain, even causing more health issues for me, but they will sure take my money with a smile."
