"I have a history of health issues. I went to the emergency room on Tuesday because I knew I was dehydrated and I had a sore throat and I had the sweats. I also came home from church on Sunday and slept all day would that being said I was asked what makes me think I'm dehydrated I explained how I was not feeling well prior to my emergency room visit and I had only been able to ingest at the most two cups of water. On that note I was told unless you're vomiting or have diarrhea you are not dehydrated well it was a episode of burning mouth syndrome. So she did manage to say in my throat was all red and my tonsils were swollen and I let her know I've never had anybody tell me my tonsils were swollen but to me that sounds like an infection it might require an antibiotics BUT.. I'm no doctor. Try explaining you've been treated for dehydration off and on for years no vomiting or diarrhea. I am aware of my grammar I have arthritis in my hands so I'm using speech to text."
"I had heard some complaints regarding Virginia Gay hospital, but when I took my hubby there on Dec.13, 2023, he was treated exceptionally well and every staff member was absolutely great. They gave him top care and were very friendly and professional, would recommend VGH to all in our community."
"I have not had good luck with Virginia Gay hospital. They always seem like it is a hassle that you are there and that you are fine. I have never felt like they cared about me as a patient. I went into the Emergency room and could barely walk. Two nurses walked around me and then when I was on the ground in pain at the check in, another nurse walked around me. The one that came to get me said "why are you in the ground?" No concern for my pain at all."
"DR WEST AWESOME GUY THE NURSE WHO WAITED ON ME NOT TO GOOD, TOLD HER BP CUP WAS TO TIGHT SHE DIDN'T LISTEN TOLD HER THAT IT WAS GOING TO LEAVE FREAKING BRUISES DIDN'T CARE IF I EVER GO IN THERE AGAIN AND SHE IS THE NURSE I WILL WALK OUT , ALSO MY HUSBAND HAD TO GET HIS CANCER PUMP OFF SHE DIDN'T EVEN PUT ON GLOVES NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL OF HER"
