DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Omaha Downtown

"Upon checking in to the hotel the room provided to us was covered in dust, the bathroom smelled strongly of urine and there were visible spots on the floor. The staff remedied this by providing another room which we were grateful for. The second room would not cool down even when turned down to 65*. The pool was not enjoyable and was ice cold. We couldn’t stay in for even 10 mins as my children’s lips were blue. Upon checkout I made mention that the pool was unbearable and was met with “I’ll have engineering check it out” no apology was made and nothing offered to entice us to ever come back. Extremely disappointed with the overall condition and lack of empathy from the check out experience."

"This weekend I stayed at their property room 1223, from the entrance to the hotel around 5 pm. everything was sweet to me. My room was perfect and I was surprised since in the past I didn't like my stay and I was a little afraid but everything changed this weekend, everything was really clean and beautiful, good view, they treated you great at the bar and the quesadillas are my favorites. favorite as appetizers wow, I had breakfast on Sunday morning and it was delicious and the girl who served me was always attentive to me, she gave me a compliment on my hair and always had a smile. thanks for this weekend."

"Location is great. Staff at checkin and staff for shuttle were great. Very friendly and polite. Our room however, sink had no hot water, but shower did. Repair guy said they had no clue why. So we had to use tub faucet to get warm water to wash face and hands. I told front desk again when checked out. Also toilet leaked when flushed. Glasses in room were not clean, one had red lipstick on it. Gross. Called desk and the brought clean ones up."

"Not up to standards of Double Tree of Hilton, may be a Hampton-Inn, even Hampton-inn is far better Dusty room hard to close doors( have to slam) most of the power points does work/loose You need to find if the room have microwave oven No Cookies , just their commercials says so Front desk person advised me to call their manager, but she never attends the call nor responds back( courtesy), have not fixed the issue even after 6 weeks even after repeated follow-ups. Parking is PAID $10/day Breakfast is PAID $18.99, but worth of any cheap motel's free breakfast service requests will complete only after 12+ hours No regular room cleaning service or incomplete nakesake service."

"Service was great, rooms were clean, and the location is perfect. My only complaint, and reason for dropping a star, is the breakfast situation. I have no problem with a hotel not offering a free breakfast; however, when they charge $18 a person for something very basic, and very comparable to what I’ve had free at many other hotels, I definitely had a bit of a sigh. Otherwise, great stay during a blizzard in Omaha!"
