"Came up here because they took Reboot away from Iowa City. It gets two shelves up here. Not even half the space it got down there - and they didn’t need two shelves for what they had for sale today. A tub of cords, a tub of corded mice, a couple of monitors and a couple of way out of date towers. The parking lot was terrible, the shoppers tended to be either pushy or oblivious, the store set up doesn’t encourage traffic to flow at all, and I kept having to jump out of the way of employees who couldn’t say excuse me. I’m at a loss as to why Reboot moved up here for less space. I won’t be back. Love Goodwill, but not this location."
"9/23/23 update: this Halloween decor scarecrow was $7.99 new at Walmart. As you can see by the picture, this particular Goodwill is charging $25.88!! Why?? The prices are getting out of hand. I’ve been a long time supporter of this Goodwill in particular but their prices are nonsense."
"If you’ve been a goodwill shopper for a while you will have noticed their prices skyrocketing over time and getting ridiculous. I see I’m not the only one complaining about it either."
"They recently changed their hours, opening at 10 am. They used to open at 8 am even during COVID. Judging from the 5 vehicles along with me waiting in the parking lot 15 minutes before they open, they should consider going back to their original hours of operation. I say this because they close at 5. This allows corporate to employ people just below full time, negating any reasonable opportunity for benefits. Goodwill poses as an outreach, but is a FOR PROFIT company."
"Clean, lots and lots of inventory, amazing prices. My cashier was wonderful. Nice, friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and personable. We had a good conversation. He also helped me find an item I needed and helped me find a few more things I didn't know I needed. I always love coming to this Goodwill."
