"My wife and I love this place. Its quite, and has great fishing I'm not sure about bass or walleye, but it has nice catfish.. My wife and I catch and release.. it does have showers and bathrooms but we don't use them cause we use our camper for that, but they look really nice... Have fire pits and water hook ups and a dump station... U want quite camping this is the place..."

"This is a great spot for primitive camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and more. If you're into cold-weather camping, the primitive camping spot is great. The bathrooms stay fairly warm and there is water by the pavilion. Great spot! We'll be back in the springtime."

"A serene setting for nearly every type of travel trailer imaginable. It's a Nebraska State Park Recreational sponsored area & requires admission fees; slightly higher for Non-Nebraskan registered & licensed vehicles with annual or and daily permits. Using the mobile website is convenient and easy; one can get help from a NSP Team Member when they're open. Their lake & boat launch appear adequate. They have a fish cleaning area near their dump station but, depending on your site designation, it may be a bit of a travel within the recreation area. A note for day trips, particularly two wheeled AND open air (convertible) transportation, minimize your unpaved miles by using their northern entry through Hubbard. Taking a shorter, southern approach requires a few miles over graveled & twisting terrain."
