Trans Nails

"It's now Color Nails. I like them. None of the women from TN Nails are still there, I don't think, and that's too bad, but the techs they have are competent and nice. They have new chairs, with plastic-lined bowls. Everyone gets their own pack of nail tools, now. They seem to make cleanliness an important goal, which is good. They are medium fancy-not a high end spa, but not purely perfunctory. They offer drinks, now (non-alcoholic). They have dips, and false nails, and do those fine, but I didnt want either. They suggested acrylic polish to keep my weak nails from breaking. They gave me a manicure with the acrylic polish, and my flat, horrible nails look better than I've ever seen them. They look almost "nice". The big reason to come here is besides the fact that they are nicer than my hometown salons, cleaner, and better--they are also CHEAPER. I don't know how they compare to other SC salons, but they are cheaper than my hometown ones, and do a better job. I just make a morning of it, and drive to SC for my nails. Oh. Important--my toenails don't chip. They grow out before chipping, which is nice. I guess it'll be the same with the acrylic polish on my fingernails."

"Had nails put on. They were not completely centered. I asked the lady to fix them. She told me it was my finger. I had 2 other customers look and they agrees. I continued to ask and was told your finger. 4 time I demanded it be fixed before I tear it and my original nail off. She FINALLY fixed the nail. Would I recommend them.?? NO!!"

"Great place smooth service at good prices. They allow an individual to choose a nail polish or two from a very wide selection before starting on services. They also offer a variety of different pedicures for different price points and lengths of time. Finally, they offer to add designs to the nails for no extra cost. Though requested, or more complex designs, may have an added price for the use of other tools. This is a great shop and I definitely intend to return."

"This is my girst negative review. I do like the staff there, but this is not the place to get acrylics. I went a week ago and left with dips in my nails where she didnt smooth over the acrylic powder and i had nails break and pop off within that week. I gave them a second chance today, all of my nails are different shapes and so thick! She cut me 3 times to where I was bleeding. It was a horrible experience overall. She even left streaks in the paint and didnt cover the whole nail."

"Workers weren't very friendly. The nail polish was chunky and the person painting my nails didn't do anything. Workers were arguing about what we wanted. I did not want gel nails... the woman kept saying that I had to get them. I would rate this a 1/2 star, but I'm being generous."
