"I ordered a hashbrown casserole. The hashbrowns were not crispy, mushy and barely warm. Casserole had been microwaved and then left to sit. Cheese was hard and not appetizing. A few in the group felt the meat was freezer burned and tasted as such. Eggs looked as though they sat under a heat lamp to get cooked. Son ordered a side of ham because they couldn't put it in the meal. The side of ham was a thin as paper and not even the size of a dollar bill. No way was it 6oz of meat. We couldn't get apitcher of water because the pitchers get stolen. Then waitress didn't return to fill the water glasses. We waited 40 minutes for seats. Then waited for our meals. We were 3 hours from home and the meal took 2hrs to complete. We should have driven home to our own little breakfast diner in town. We will not go back until Cracker Barrel actually hires cooks that know how and will cook."

"Excellent service with our meal. The check out lady was the best. Very friendly and was offering great customer service with my purchase from the gift shop as well. And I had earned reward dollars and she offered those dollars towards my purchase. Some clerks in other stores don’t even mention it."

"This is a great reliable chain consistent with it's food and service. We went with a party of nine seven adults and two kids. We only had a short wait to be seated that gave us just a good time to have a look round the shop. Service was quick and efficient and the issue with one meal was shorted very quickly. Prices are very competitive good food for a reasonable price. The service was attentive without being in your face. We are regular visitors to the USA and we normally like to do at least one meal in Cracker Barrell."

"Decent location of Cracker Barrel. We were traveling and needed a quick late dinner. We were concerned as we pulled up because the lights in the signs weren’t on, but they were indeed up (until 10 on the weekends, 9pm weekdays). They were pretty slow, so we’re seated promptly. Shout out to our server Julie who was welcoming and knew what she was doing. Once we ordered, our food came out in a flash which was nice since we wanted to get back on the road. The food was tasty, my complaint is that it was not very hot. I learned that Cracker Barrel now serves alcohol!"

"My wife and I had dinner at the Cracker Barrel. The food was good. I had roast beef, mash potatoes, gravy, and salad. The beef was so tender that you could barely stab it with a fork before it fell apart. The potatoes and gravy were good. The salad was fresh with lots of goodies. My wife had just the dinner salad and a little of the roast beef. Before our meal, Patrick brought 3 warm biscuits, 3 warm cornbread muffins, lots of butter, and jam, so amazingly yummy. The best part of our meal was Patrick, our sever. He has a delightful personality, is warm, friendly, and attentive. We hope Cracker Barrel management knows what a treasure they have in Patrick!!"
