"Decided to stop by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food, service and atmosphere was! We were promptly greeted and sat at a table where the waitress asked what we would like to drink and if we wanted any queso with our chips and salsa. Of course we did and by the time she came back with all three, we were ready to order. I ordered the steak quesadilla with rice and beans, a steak taco on a corn tortilla and my husband got a beef chimichanga. Everything was full of flavor, from the Smokey salsa served with our chips to the steak quesadilla and the rice! Will definitely be going back as the service was impeccable, the restaurant was very clean and tidy and the food was a hit! 10/10 would come back to eat here again!"

"Nice place, the chips, queso and salsa was very good. I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but I enjoyed the Burrito. Second visit wasn't as good. Dropped to 4 stars, still decent."

"Hadn’t been back in years since before my dad passed away. It was his favorite Mexican restaurant. Still great food, great service. Nice cozy place. Thank you."

"We’ve gone here a few times and the food is fairly average. Not the biggest fan of the salsa and the passion fruit marg I ordered the last time I went but I did enjoy the pollo al pastor. Service was slow but there was only one person that we saw working so I can’t blame her for it. That said, it did take over thirty minutes for us to get our check when we were finished eating."

"This place is just meh, I got the burrito Mar (seafood burrito) and the tortilla tasted like it had come straight out of a package (it was very bland and hard). The portions are on the smaller side too when compared to other local Mexican restaurants. I found myself snacking on the chips after I finished my food because I was still hungry. The waitress was very polite and was friendly, though did not seem to check on people very much. When there are so many other local Mexican restaurants in the DSM area, I would have to recommend them even if they are a little more pricey, you get more food for your money. El Fogon is down the street.........."
