"Let's start with the chips and salsa. Better than average chips with excellent salsa. Meni items had very large portions. Our group of four enjoyed their meals. The highlight was the Pollo Delight. Pressed chicken breast cooked in a tangy sauce with shrimp and pineapple. The mexican coleslaw that came with it was great. The low spot for me was the chicken in the chimichanga. Although there was more chicken than I could eat, it seemed to be fresh out of a can. No real chicken cooked in sauce."
"This is a 5 star Mexican experience. The food was worthy of bragging rights! Large portions for a reasonable price. Margaritas were the best I’ve had while traveling in Des Moines. Service…5+ stars! Prompt and attentive with great recommendations. I highly suggest trying this place if you haven’t already!"
