"Don't be low income with a lot of teeth problems and go to see Dr. Jim there, and one other receptionist/dental assistant. They'll turn their nose up at you. I had gone there for so many years and my teeth have had lots of problems. He wouldn't do much but fill or pull them. Which he was just had a cold attitude and was very rough and uncaring whether he hurt me or not. As for anything else he sends ya elsewhere... okay I get it, my insurance only covers so much at a time and he doesn't do surgical. But he couldve tried a dental plan with goals, with him, like cleanings and preventative care, instead he decided to look for a way out though the likes of my insurance(medicaid), Instead of treating me like a human being, they just turn their nose up at me like i was poor trash and treated me like I was seeking meds. Which many times I never asked. They made me feel like I just exploited welfare.Believe me, if I had a choice at the time, I wouldn't have had medicaid. They acted sick and tired of seeing me. So they "stopped taking medicaid" . Eventually, I finally got on some better insurance, and they said they take it, but once they got my name they stuck me on hold and said my insurance wont work cuz I'm not in their network. I may be broke but i'm not stupid. I instantly starting crying and feeling so embarrassed and ashamed. Why would they make me feel this way? Shame on you McKnight Dental! I wouldn't give any stars but it won't let me. ZERO STARS! I regret wasting my there for so long. I'd probably still have half my teeth if I would've just gone somewhere els but I felt that was the only place I could go to in town"
