"First, I have to give credit to Katelyn. We had car trouble as we were en route to the hotel. This put a damper on our reservation, especially since we had a tournament to attend the next morning. Katelyn went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensured we had a room available for when we did arrive. The room was a suite and it was the perfect size for us. The room was as expected. The bed was comfy, and the couch with the pull-out bed served its purpose. There was a complete bedding set for the pull-out bed and plenty of pillows to go around. There was a small kitchenette stocked with dishes (we brought disposables, now we know for next time). It had a fridge, microwave, little stove top, and a dishwasher. The bathroom was a nice size. A huge plus; we all slept great after a trying night. The best part was breakfast! So many options to choose from that everyone ate well. We were all happy with our stay."

"first thing first - the rooms are very nice, comfortable bed and basically a full size kitchen. water pressure in the showes is below average food is really good for included hotel breakfast with a variety of options. the ladies on the reception did not make an impression of friendly people but weren't particularly rude. the only nice person in the whole hotel was cleaning lady, was very helpful when the reception desk was empty for 30 minutes"

"I visited this hotel for a business trip and was disappointed by the lack of food services provided by the hotel. I visited during a severe blizzard and unfortunately had to extend my stay by a day. While the staff was very accommodating to my extension in allowing me to stay during the blizzard, there was no restaurant to eat at and what food was available for purchase in their "The Market" was freezer-burned, old, expired and stale. It looked like they hadn't seen a refresh of new products in MONTHS! Because of the weather, I was unable to visit any other places to get food or have it delivered either, so I was forced to eat what old food they had. They also had very poor maintenance in their parking lot during the storm. There was no snow-plowing of their lot and/or salting and therefore, walking around in the parking lot was EXTREMELY dangerous from all the ice that covered the area. I nearly fell several times from all the ice that was covered by the snow! The TV service was also a failure point throughout the entire trip and if it hadn't been for the internet service would have made for a very boring time in a not-so-exciting hotel. I do not recommend this hotel for future stays and will not be staying there again myself."

"Appears, based on their reviews, I am not the only person that experienced some issues. The most disappointing part is the response I received from their sales-person and no acknowledgment what-so-ever in the below email chain from their Asst Mgr or Manager. He only talked about how they would do additional training and look into my concerns. They did nothing for me to make things right. Very disappointing. EMAIL I SENT TO MANAGEMENT AND THEIR SALES PERSON: Good afternoon. I checked in on Christmas Evening. The Desk Clerk took several minutes to appear at the front desk. When she finally did so she looked like she just woke up. Hair shuffled. No personality. She told me there was a $50.00 incidental charge for my stay. She also indicated breakfast started at 7 am and that to get anything from the market it had to be paid for at the kiosk. I had to leave the following morning at 7 am for an early meeting. I was disappointed upon exiting the hotel to learn that breakfast started at 6:30 am, thus I had no breakfast. I received a couple of fraud alerts from my bank. Reviewed my bank account and discovered a hold was placed for $200 and another one for $40.00. I called the front desk on Wednesday late afternoon. I was told the incidental is $20 per day (staying 5 nights) and the other $140 hold was due to “Corporate” putting the hold so they can ensure they get paid from the hotel since I used points for my stay. I questioned her what incidental charges are possible at the property. She indicated charges from the market (vs told upon check-in – you can’t charge) and for the Internet. Well, you can’t tell me that for Marriott members (since it’s free) it can be programmed to not charge them for the internet. The issue isn’t that my card had unexpected charges placed on it but that a member(s) of your staff is not on the same page regarding simple procedures of your hotel and when I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk, no apology. For some people having a hold of an extra $190.00 could be an issue, especially around the holidays, and then not getting the money back for 3 – 5 days after checking out. I shared with the Desk Clerk that I am not sure I would ever stay at the property again. All she said was, “okay.” I realized my room was not cleaned. I called the desk back and was told that every other day trash and old towels were to be removed. I indicated it wasn’t done. No response. No offer to bring clean towels up. I expressed my displeasure that when I said on the earlier call that I’m not sure if I would ever be back, she abruptly said; “you were upset and I was afraid if I said anything more, you would become more upset.” I did not raise my voice, but yes, I was very much to-the-point and prior to ending the call she had plenty of time to apologize. Excuses. Clearly training needs to take place on how to handle customers. Within an hour or so, I received a call from Alex. He stated he heard I had some concerns. I appreciate him taking the time. I explained all of this to him. He assured me that he would discuss it with management and would be back in touch with me on Thursday. As of now, I have not heard from anyone. Frankly, that’s the most disappointing part of all of this. The lack of urgency and commitment sure does explain why I have experienced what I have."

"Less clean than the average hotel. We used the pool and unfortunately it had a very oily feeling and was green which means something is wrong chemically. It also had a lot of dead bugs in it. We immediately showered and no ill effects luckily. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average. The general level of clean was below standard, however. Carpets in the hallways needed vacuuming, all the dishes we used needed to be cleaned first, and the bathroom had some problem areas. Dirty sink, stains on walls and the floors weren’t cleaned properly. I probably wouldn’t stay there again. Other Marriott hotels we’ve stayed at were cleaner and nicer."
