"Five Guys prices have gotten straight-up disrespectful. $20 for a double bacon cheeseburger and regular fries? That's crazy. Also, what happened to bag fries? My fries were like $7 and I got a little more than a dozen. Two stars because the burger isn't bad, better than the average fast food burger, but certainly not better than what I could make on my own for a fraction of the cost. Staff wasn't very friendly either."

"People are complaining about the price: It's real, fresh food, not McDonald's. A large fry will feed a family of 6+. A small fry is a sharable side here. The burgers are absolutely worth it. Fresh, cooked right in front of you. Customized how you want it, for no cost. The single patty with a small fry is very affordable and basically the same cost as a value meal elsewhere, except you aren't putting the 150 chemicals McDonald's has in a burger in your body. Fries are arguably the best, hands down. Enjoy some free peanuts while you wait."
"We had 5 guys in the Atlanta airport. I can't say enough about it. I still have not tried the Des Moines area locations yet. The only complaint I have heard is the price. As an airport place, it didn't seem out of reason because everything in the airport is outrageous. I plan to try one locally. If it is as good as the Atlanta airport, I would pay the extra for the quality and quantity."
