"I'm very sad to say the Villager's broasted chicken is just not the same. We've been going there for years anytime we were in the area, and only one other time was there such a noticeable difference in quality. Several years ago we had a similar experience but after a few months they were back to normal. I'm guessing they have changed to a cheaper supplier, the chicken was not brined, had NO flavor, and was dry, tough, and stringy. (Seemed like the oil in the fryer hadn't been changed in a while as well, the coating was a little burnt looking but not crispy) I did let them know and asked for a replacement chicken breast since mine was basically inedible. They brought me a thigh (not really what I wanted but oh well) but it wasn't much better. Even the dark meat was dry and flavorless. Very disappointing and it's not cheap, ($15 for a 4 piece chicken dinner and $10 for the 2 piece.) The kids even said their ice cream wasn't the same. The homemade onion rings were still good, so there's that at least. And the service was good. But we won't be back until I hear things have changed back."

"Good food. French fries were overpriced. Hard to hear conversation but there were alot of people in there."

"This place is AMAZING! The cheese curds are top notch, and the chicken is great. The restrooms are nice and aren't messy."

"I came from Sioux City for the tavern and took 2 more home. It's the best I ever had. I highly recommend the Villager to all my friends and family."
