"The staff at the Johnston, IA location are top notch, especially Brittany and Jaime at the front desk! The catering staff was excellent as well. Great food and great service. The beds were comfy and all the little seating areas around the hotel were a nice touch. The pool and hot tub were warm and fun!"
"First night was promising. the room was nicely cleaned, and i was able to hook up my electronics and such without issue. problems started to occur second night and so on, though. The second night i asked room services if i could get some toilet paper and towels (we had 1/4 of a roll when we first got the room, and only two towels.) after two hours, nothing came. i had to call three more times before they came! and i only got two towels besides the five requested. then, on the third night, i asked if they could clean my room as i was going to be leaving for awhile. i came back to find only our trash cans emptied, and the room NOT cleaned. this was rather upsetting. on the fourth night, we asked to have the room cleaned once more, and guess what? nothing. unenjoyable stay, but hey. the pool was pretty cool. but they kicked us out at 10."
"We stayed here overnight me my husband, and 2 daughters both under the age of two. The rooms were clean the service was amazing, all employees we met were super friendly and helpful. Also really enjoy their breakfast wasn't just cold cereal like most places and had plenty of options. I will definitely stay here again."
"The ladies at the front desk were amazing and very friendly. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We really enjoyed the log cabin rustic feel. A nice change from your basic hotel. They are pet friendly, which is a plus. The bar opens at 4pm and serves pizza and finger foods, which are delicious. Breakfast was great with many options available. Would definitely visit again"
