"We just popped in for a quick appetizer and drinks before a concert, so I dont know much about the rest of the menu...BUT definitely glad we did! Loved the corn fritters (the sauce they come with is delish) and the ceviche was pretty good as well! Solid drinks, too. The house margaritas are tasty and not too sweet, which I'm a fan of. Looking forward to going back to try more of the regular menu!"
"Very good. Visited multiple times and had the same great experience. Ambient music is upbeat without blaring as we have been able to speak across the table without shouting. Service is prompt and not overbearing. Appetizers and tacos all gently made for presentation and consumption. The shrimp taco and sweet potato taco remain my favorites."
"Highly Recommended! My coworkers and I were in town for a conference and stumped upon Hook and Lime. First, the atmosphere inside was very pleasant, plus, the staff were all nice, friendly, and very accommodating since one of us had a gluten-free restriction. I especially love the Margarita with Pineapple infused and the Ahi Tuna Tostadas appetizer! I love it even more knowing they do everything from scratch. I’d love to come back here again for my next visit!!"
"Started out as a decent little hip taco & tequila place. They continue to make some great margaritas, and the Mezcal Old Fashioned I had was solid. But they let me down recently. You don’t do what’s pictured, under any circumstance. You can’t take a room temperature corn packaged (not fresh) tortilla and put the tacos insides inside into it. Within seconds of doing so the tortilla will fall apart in a disgusting mess of packaged corn mush. This is basic - BASIC - Mexican cuisine technique. Fix your kitchen and train your cooks."
