"Stopped in today on my Cadillac Escalade 2010 to check oil leak. Owner was inspected and was honest and very helpful. Advised me not to put more money into this vehicle (240,000 miles). The amount of $$ to repair will only be a band-aid for future problems. Really appreciate the honesty and help I received. They easily could have racked up some hefty bills. Shopping for new vehicle."

"Long review ahead but worth the read: We been taking my husband’s car here since we moved to Marion in 2020 and generally had good experiences. My husbands car needed all new brake pads, rotors, rear calipers and a complete flush of all fluid systems. We called Hubbell and they quoted us somewhere around $1,200 dollars. We had the service completed with them in April of 2023 for a grand total of $1,366.04. When we got the car back, everything seemed fine but about a week after the service was completed we started hearing a grinding noise. My husband called and told them what he was hearing and they told him to bring the car in and they would look at it and listen for it. We took the car in, one of the workers drove it around and said they didn’t hear any noise. They told us to bring it back if we start hearing it again. Within the next day or two my husband was hearing the grinding noise again. We called and whoever he talked to said it could be the new brake pads “wearing in.” It wasn’t happening every time he braked so we tried to give them time to “wear in.” The grinding noise would get progressively worse over time… and finally in at the beginning of November the noise was happening every time we would brake and was extremely loud. We called Hubbell to see if they would look at it and listen for it, they told us to bring it in and found the front brake pads needed replaced again and gave the explanation of “sometimes they are faulty from the factory.” So they replaced the two front brake pads and didn’t charge us, saying the pads were under warranty but did charge us for the labor totaling $154.91. Their reasoning for having to charge us for the labor was because the service was past the 90 days of the original date in April 2023. So even though we brought his car back after the service, were told whoever drove it didn’t hear anything, and then when we called the second time to say we still heard the noise after their mechanic did not, and were told it’s the brake pads “wearing in” it’s somehow our responsibility for the cost of labor even though we brought it back like they asked and even called a second time to ask what to do. Apparently Hubbell doesn’t stand behind their work or their word? We won’t be coming back to support this small business, and I would recommend finding somewhere else if your car needs a lot of work and costs a lot of money, because you may end up spending more when something isn’t right. You’d think after spending over $1300 hundred dollars, they’d stand by their work but I guess not."

"I do 99% of my own car repairs but if I don't have the time or tools to repair something this is the only place I will take my cars to. These guys are fast and knowledgeable."

"Our truck would not start. Our neighbor suggested Hubbells so we called AAA and had it towed there. ( We are new to the area.) We had truck towed there. Within several hours, we had a call stating it needed new starter and then was fixed. Lightning quick beyond our expectation service!"

"My first time coming to Hubbell's. I came in for a 2nd opinion on my belt and pulley issue. No BS. Dropped it off the night before the work was scheduled and it was done at 9:30am the next day! They even fixed my exhaust too! I was not expecting such a fair price on the parts & labor as well! I will be back!! Total PROS!!"
