"This is the best hotel along US 20 between Illinois and Oregon. Get one of the first floor rooms facing the pool, at least in the summer. Kahills was quite good, very friendly, has a good fun view, and very convenient for guests. The bedding and mattress were top notch, which to me is the key quality of a good hotel stay."

"Everything about our recent stay was "exceptional"!! We had a ground floor double queen room with a river view. The "quiet" room was immaculate, with comfy plush beds, bedding & pillows. The towels, lighting, toiletries & comfortable roominess in the bathroom were great. The grounds, landscaping and views of the river were perfect. We "loved" the staff at the front desk---smiling, helpful & congenial. And, the Kahill Chophouse was "out-of-this-world"!! The wait staff, ambiance & 4 different meals we had while we were there were all "sublime"!! It was a pleasure to stay here! A total "class act"!! Thanks to all for such an overall spectacular experience!"

"The area is nice, but smells pretty bad and real fishy. The hotel looks great until you realize they don't clean very well and some of their staff are rude. My room could have definitely been cleaned better, there was mold in the shower, stains all over the carpet and what I can only describe as dried urine all over the toilet and bathroom floor. There was no internet and the TV service kept cutting out. The blonde girl at the front desk did not recognize my status, so couldn't access M club and she wouldn't allow for a late check out. The climate control worked well though. I stay at a lot of Marriott hotels and this was unfortunately one of the worst, so I cannot recommend this hotel in good faith and will not be staying here again."
