Reviews
"It was very interesting and interactive! My daughter really enjoyed the biome exhibit!!!"
"I have been going to this museum since I was a child. I definitely love the outer space sections that are always on permanent display. But it is the planetarium that brings me back decade after decade. The ability to gaze at the heavens and bring it to your heart is priceless. The museum also offers Native Ioway history, geology, local history, children's sections with hands on activities and local history. Visit this museum!!"
"We went here as school children on class trips and fun to visit again and find new displays on dinosaurs in Iowa and local Native American village when we took our grandson. Nice show in the planetarium too. Hands on science learning experiments were fun for our 10 year old grandson too! He enjoyed it."
"The museum had a variety of fun activities for kids of all ages. The staff was also super friendly. It's definitely worth a visit."
"Fun, free educational place. They are always making improvements and updating displays. Wonderful programing for all ages. Traveling exhibits and artwork changes monthly/quarterly. New planetarium programs are interesting. Elevator access to all floors, now. Fun, inexpensive gift shop with a free book exchange available."
