"Moved me in a unit that sustained water damage base boards were water logged and had clear evidence there was problems with the mainline prior to me being moved in the unit. The apartment flooded with water during the middle of winter and because of this the floor was ruined. I got my deposit back thank god, but I was told the workers did a shotty job on the flooring and the paneling was coming undone from the water. There was evidence of mold. I was evicted after my first month. And there was a commons area in which you could cook and do laundry where people used drugs frequently, I tried to inform them of this after finding paraphernalia. Over all my experience with this company was horrible and the service I received was also bad. The women who works in the office was very rude."

"Do NOT use this management company. We were looking for a summer vacation rental in Tahoe and it was the worst experience I have ever had. The property I stayed at was 2082 Lukins Way - there were spiders quite literally everywhere, and the carpet was covered in large stains. The picture's on Select's website did not accurately represent this property. We lost power multiple times throughout the summer (No one else on the street lost power). When I moved out, the owners charged me for damaging their knives, dishes, and TV (that were all probably 20 years old) just so that they could buy new ones on my dime. Overall, I felt like Select did not really care to help when I voiced all of these issues and refuted the deposit claims. I understand this was more of an owner issue - but Select's overall apathetic and rude demeanor over the phone really sealed the deal."
"AVOID 2082 LUKINS WAY AT ALL COSTS. The owners will steal your security deposit to update their outdated, poorly cleaned, spider infested home!! We stayed there for 3 months and they stole over $1000 of our deposit, and we’ve never ONCE lost a dollar from a deposit before. AVOID SELECT AS WELL. They do not work with you, they do not care about you, and they are absolutely RUDE on the phone. STAY AWAY!!"
