"So we called these guys back in 2022 and asked for a consultation and quote to install some kind of central air system in our home. They were like the 4th people we had come out because we kept having a hard time believing how much people wanted to charge to do any work for us. So right away they were super chill and when the guy came out he walked us through our options and explained why a heat pump system would be our best bet. They got us our quote in less than 24 hours and the owner was the one that sent it to us. So.... Somehow... It was less than half what the other top 3 people were quoting us. Same equipment. Same level of experience. Same everything. There were a dozen different issues that had the other guys saying we would have to do this or that before they even show up to do the job and when the tech came across each issue he would just tell me that they would do this or that to work through the problems the other guys demanded I fix myself. So anyway some stuff happened and we decided not to pull the trigger yet. 2 years later it is now time and we call mountain West to see if they can update the quote with the inflation prices factored in. So they came back with a quote that was less than expected considering. The owner came out to make sure everything is measured correctly and we work out a date and within the month the entire company comes out and installs our system in less than two days. The owner doing just as much work as the rest of his crew. They came across several hidden old house issues and had to do a bunch of extra work. All that extra and today I see my total bill and it is almost dead on with the quote. This was the most positive experience I have ever had with any kind of contractor in my whole life and I can't recommend these guys enough. Do yourself a favor and skip these big national chains and hire this local company"

"Murphy's Law dictates that when a major storm blows through the area, one's heater will abruptly cease producing heat. The law also requires that this event will occur on a weekend. I spent an hour or so studying online reviews of Heating Repair Companies and made a list of 5 companies that had decent reviews. I then ranked the companies, based on their reviews, 1 through 5. Early Monday morning I began calling. First on my list was Mountain West Heating. They were my one and only call... Within 2 hours, Hugh, from Mountain West arrived. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. He replaced the thermostat and performed an annual servicing on the furnace. The service call cost about half of what I expected. To sum up, 1. Friendly and efficient office staff. 2. Quick response. 3. Professional and knowledgeable technician. 4. Reasonable pricing. In closing, I want to add that I was snowed in and Hugh gamely climbed over the snow berm, tool box in hand, in order to access my home. Truly over and above response and service. Thank you, Mountain West!"

A different company came a few days prior and said we need a new furnace and air conditioner totaling over $13,000. Hugh was very courteous, professional and left everything clean and in good order.
