"I was only able to talk to Steve 3 times throughout about a year long process. And his legal secretary was almost as hard to get ahold of. I would usually have to call and leave multiple messages with promises of returned phone calls to no avail, and would have to email Lavinia to get any kind of response. The information on their document drafts was continually incorrect and had to be corrected 3 times, taking just as long to get a response for each correction. When I told the receptionist that I would appreciate a call back rather than another failed promise. I received a call from Lavinia telling me how rude I was, and that I would not receive a phone call back from herself or Steve unless I apologized and not until after the Christmas holiday which is 7 days away. I had to fire Steve Evenson and look for a new lawyer to complete my QDRO. Steve and Lavinia were also very rude and inconsiderate through the whole long and drawn out process. The receptionist (Steve's daughter) was the only pleasant part of the situation."

"This attorney will promise everything and do nothing except where the case is simple. He either has too much going at once or he doesn't care I will not put my case out for public review, just know I have been waiting months and when he does answer he apologizes to you with a promise to return a call on another day to discuss your case and never does. Asking his office staff to help you is useless as they message him and nothing happens. If this lawyer cant handle his caseload he needs to cut it down or go out of business. I am sick of waiting."
