"Hapuna is a beautiful beach. Lots of shallow areas for the kids to play in, and big beautiful waves for boogie boarding or just relaxing. The grounds are well maintained by staff and there are also lifeguards on duty. There are restrooms and picnic tables as well. Make sure you pay your parking and entrance fee at the machine!"

"This beach is amazing. The sand was the most amazing sand I have ever felt. There's lots of room on the beach even though there will be many people there. Plenty of parking. Bring a body board because there's great waves."

"This is my favorite beach it's perfect for families it's super clean it has restrooms showers outdoors showers to rinse sand off plenty of parking white sandy beach no water shoes needed in the water nice waves for body surfing or boogie boarding walking trails with beautiful views I could go here everyday"

"Hapuna Beach is a must visit place! It has been ranked best beach in the US, and it lives up to its name. The beach is easy to access, there are a lot of amenities like showers, foot wash stations, washrooms, fountains, water bottle filler station, and picnic area. The beach is beautiful, about 1/2 mile long so lots of places to set up an umbrella and enjoy the view. Waves were about 8-10 feet high (Nov). Definitely bring a boogie/body board. There's two lifeguard towers keeping watch over the beach goers as well."
