She has created an incredibly safe and loving space for one to go through their healing process, and is equipped with the knowledge and discernment to make her an excellent health care professional. The balance between both professional and personal atmosphere is achieved with her practice. Sometimes therapy is something to stumble with at first, no matter who you see, as it's like, "How does this thing work?" And with Dr. Edwards I felt the importance of my showing up for myself, because I deserved this time to heal. I never felt that with therapists before, and often had this sense when working with counselors or therapists that we were analyzing my behavior, rather than exploring my emotions. Those were counselors and therapists who I visited once and never went back.
