"A wonderful place to relax with amazing views of the ocean. The grounds are amazingly well taken care, people are friendly, and great amenities like a small beach, ocean view pool, tennis courts, shuffle board, bbq, easy parking, and kayaks/paddle boards. There is a nice country store with good food down the street and Molokai has the longest sand beaches and reef in Hawaii - not to mention the largest sea cliffs in the world. A super relaxing place to enjoy the sun and ocean."

"I rented a condo thru VRBO for a month. March 2022. The grounds are lush and well taken care of thru the association. There are 3 units with 48 condos in each. The pool is refreshing and sits with views of ocean. You can see Maui to the east and Lanai to the west. About 75% of the whales in Hawaii spend time in this portion of the water due to the reef and protection for their calves. If here during December thru March you will see whales. The pool area has limited lounge chairs. I think that may be due to covid restrictions. There is a covered area with windows blocking the trade winds. It has a library of books and tables with chairs. There is also gas grills, refrigerator, sink and soda machine in this pool area. There are a number of dogs on the neighboring property that bark and howl most of the night. The roosters will have you up by 4am as they begin to serenade each other and claim their area. Sometimes this will be right outside your window. There are a few units with dogs and I saw a cat with a bell and collar. The beach property next to the grounds is privately owned. Residents do walk the neighborimg beach and use it as access for kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The waterfront is not a swimming beach. It is part of the reef and quite shallow. I saw people walk a considerable distance and not go more than about knee deep. When the winds are high the surf is dangerous. There is no nightlife and quiet time from 9:00 pm thru 7:30 am. I found the quiet refreshing. The drive to the east end is beautiful. Bring a picnic to enjoy at Halawa Bay. (You need to book a privatetour to go to the falls...much of the area is privately owned)"

"Wavecrest is a great, *quiet* place to stay. Our condo is clean, well-stocked and charming. The pool is great. The view is great. There's credit card operated laundry. I thought laundry was in the unit based on the way it was advertised, but it wasn't a big deal- it was 2 steps out the front door. I loved being able to cook at the condo. There's a cute little black sand beach next to the pool. I think you could swim in it, but I knew it has rocks. We named it Pepper Beach. Ghost Crabs dog holes every night and you can watch them scurry around. The breeze it's always on here. It's windy, but makes the humidity easy to deal with. It didn't feel muggy after our initial shock coming from Colorado's dry mountain air. Wavecrest is far down the east side of the island and nothing is that close- but nothing is that far, either. You won't be walking anywhere for lunch or a cup of coffee, so come prepared to drive 25 minutes to town or make it yourself. The tropical birds are plentiful. The mountain views are gorgeous, too. I am very happy we stayed here."

"Very nicely kept grounds and pool. We airbnb'd our stay so can't speak to the resort staff or their rooms, but very pleasant place to call home base. Wish they had a hot tub and it would be perfect!"
