Pyramid fine wine & spirits

"Laura was beyond helpful when we came into the store for our first time! While we aren't strangers to alcohol, we certainly hadn't been to Pyramid Fine Wine &Spirits before, and Laura was truly amazing! She gave us the grand tour after guiding us to the specific alcohol we were looking for and she couldn't have been more thorough! I admit, the place is jam-packed with product and a little intimidating to navigate due to the copious amounts of glass on the shelves (I get nervous about breaking something by accident, I'll admit) but we definitely knew where we were going by the end of our shopping experience! We used to frequent a competitor years ago, but we know where we are going from now on!"

"This was my first time going into Pyramid Fine Wine and Spirits. They are pricier than others, but honestly that doesn't bother me. I love the huge selection and all the little knickknacks they have! Laura was great, and noticed I bought two different types of hard cider, and told me about a tasting they will be holding. That is what I call attention to detail!!"

"I was very disappointed in today’s visit(s), 2/16/24, with Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits. I went in this morning for a friend’s retirement gift from the military. I thought I was being a good person by saying “I don’t know if you have this whiskey, I know they are no longer making it, but I wanted to get some for my friend.” There were 3 left on the shelf and I wanted to buy all 3. (Mind you they are 104$/Bottle). The employee, Laura, had to then call her boss to make sure this was okay since she now found out that this whiskey is now being discontinued. The manager said only one for myself. So, I called my sister and she came and picked up another bottle. Laura then followed her to the door to make sure she was not giving me the whiskey out front. I go in after work around 7pm and go get the last bottle. (There was no rule on how many purchases, just one at a time and there was no sign on it as well). To my surprise, the bottle was still there, however, the price tag was now handwritten with $294.00 on it. I go to the front and kindly ask why the price was upped almost $100. As I am asking this, Laura and a young lady (13-15?) were standing just feet away telling the cashier that I had bought 2 already earlier in the day. He proceeded to tell me to go to Costco and buy whiskey or I can find another one that he sells. I told him kindly that I did not want another kind as this was his favorite, and that I wanted this as a gift for a friend. During this time, Laura and the young lady are now standing by the door, watching and the young lady kept moving closer to me as if she were going to throw punches. The manager told me that this should not have been on the shelf and that he did make the price change because he could not have changed it in the computer yet until the “supplier” was able to “allow” him to sell the bottle. (Even though he told me earlier that he did not know who changed it and they don’t do hand written tags) I informed him that he would have never known it was an item that was being discontinued unless I had said anything to Laura. He then proceeded to ask me why I needed all these bottles and accused me of reselling them at my own store. As I leave the store, Laura and the young lady are waiting outside the store. They watched me get into my car and walk back in after me. I get home to see if I can buy it online from them and have my husband pick it up. It was available for 104$. Within minutes, my order was cancelled for reasons of “Out of Stock”. I will NEVER go to this place again. I will NEVER spread the word of this store either. They are screwing people with price hikes because they are GREEDY. I was willing to spend $$ today for a well-deserved person who deserves it. To each is own, but, I wont go in again."
