"My daughter has an autoinflammatory condition that flared up while vacationing in Poipu. The medication we give to treat this condition didn't completely eliminate her fever as it normally does and there were a couple other symptoms not characteristic of a typical flare so we brought her in to get some peace of mind it wasn't something else. After waiting for 3 1/2 hours, Dr. Michael seemed rather dismissive and gave the sense we were wasting his time (mind you this is 5 minutes of his time and 3 1/2 hours or ours). He said it was viral and, while it wouldn't help anything, he could write a prescription for antibiotics if that's what I wanted. I never mentioned antibiotics. Suffice to say i wasn't impressed. While I'd like to rate him lower, I hesitate to torpedo him with a one star review based on one encounter and I guess in the least pleasant way possible we accomplished our goal of ruling out an ear infection, step, or other infection requiring treatment."
