"I would give 0 stars if I could! My family & I (5 people total) took a tour of the Grand Canyon & Hoover dam however it was the biggest waste of time & money ever!! It started out with us calling the company to confirm our tour. When we booked it they said the pick up time was 7am however the day before when we called they said the pick up time was changed to 5:30am! (Good thing we called or else we would have missed it!) Next the original place they told us to meet was very far away from our hotel. We asked the hotel that we were staying at which place was closer for a pick up. We found 1 a block away. Then we all got dropped off at a Wearhouse & separated into different busses & where they try to up sell you. (We felt like cattle) Once we we're on the bus we went to the Hoover dam. We felt very rushed all you had time to do was walk to the top & take a picture then get back to the bus. Then we went to the National geographic center to get our lunch. We spent way too much time for lunch (I think they left you there to buy stuff at the gift shop) The weather was very cold & rainy when we left which turned into snow at the National geographic center. On our way to the Grand Canyon the bus driver was tailgating other cars so close & I was worried not just about the tailgating but about the driver sliding into the car infront of us due to the snow! (BTW I'm Canadian so I know how to drive in tons of snow!) Once we were at the canyon we stopped again for a bit to walk around however it was so foggy you couldn't see really anything! We went to Bright angel & Mather point. Both were super foggy & couldn't see much! Gray line doesn't guarantee the weather which is ok but I'm sure they could guess what the weather was like due to them in constant contact with the park stations! The bus driver also tried to leave a couple behind because they weren't at the bus on time! He drove away however we told him to go back to get them. The bus driver was very pissed off that we went back! (He said "it breaks his policy") On the way back to Vegas the bus driver kept saying he needed to get back home. So he sped & tailgated & honked his horn the whole way back! We contacted Gray line with all of this however they didn't care! We had booked this trip thru Viator. So we left our hotel @ 5am & got back to our hotel @ 10:30pm. It was a very long day feeling rushed to see & do nothing except see our life flash before our eyes!! Waste of time!"
"My experience with this company was horrendous. The 15 minutes at the Hoover Dam was a climb up 4 set of cement stairs, in the heat, to a lookout point. Due to my bad knees, I did not go, but my friend who made it up said the view was disappointing and there was so little time once you made the top, as you had to be back down immediately. On the way to the first rest stop in Kingman,AZ, the bus was losing AC. Our driver did her best, reporting the problem immediately to the company. We sat in a MacDonalds for several hours while promises of repairs coming soon were made. When a decision was finally made, it was to send a bus (also with bad AC) to return us to Las Vegas, as the hour was too late to go the Grand Canyon. While we received a full refund, and an offer of a free tour, most people will never have the opportunity to return to take it. A new bus should have been dispatched IMMEDIATELY, you do not leave your customers stranded. The manager was adversarial and left no one with a good feeling. I would say skip this one completely!"
"We did the deluxe tour and it seemed like a good value. The driver (James)was knowledgeable and funny so he made the drive better. The busses A/C was mediocre but it was 117 that day. The buffet was ok. The tour did includes the Government tour at Hoover. I would of rather skipped the chocolate and garden thing and spent more time at hoover because 2 hours is not long enough."
"All I can say it was FUN, and totally worth it. Totally suitable for family's. We were picked up at 9:10 AM at the Desert Rose Hotel and taken to the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. We took a few pictures, then hopped back on the bus and taken to a warehouse type of place where we checked-in. After checking in, we hopped on our respective bus, whether you had purchased the deluxe or just regular hoover dam tour. Basically the difference between the Deluxe and the Regular was that Deluxe received a lunch buffet. We hopped on the bus, went to Ethel's M. Chocolate Factory, then to Hoover Dam, then to Roadhouse Casino/Hotel, then back to our hotels. We arrived back to our hotel at 4:30 PM. All I can recommend is don't expect to sleep/nap on the bus, most likely the bus driver will be giving you a tour and talking about the different places he is taking you to. Eat breakfast, a good breakfast since we didn't get to eat lunch until 1:45 PM, left Roadhouse at 3:15 PM. You will enjoy the tour, let the tour guide do his job.. and guide you!"
"Prior to utilizing Airbridge Tours' services we had heard mixed reviews, but they had prices you could not beat so we decided to take them for a spin. We took the standard bus tour to the Grand Canyon and it was an early birthday present to me from my best friend. The tour guides were great and so were the bus drivers. They were all very assertive and made sure that we stayed together so we did not lose anyone in the group. We all had fun and I will be sure to use Airbridge next time I am in the area."
