"I definitely recommend coming here. My experience was memorable to say the least. My tattoo artist Tim went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable & was extremely accommodating. He also made the experience fun for me and my friends. My cousin’s tattoo artist, Kaina, was very patient helping design what she wanted within her budget. We all left super happy, and I got a super funny video for social media. Which I could go back again sooner!"

"In summary- this place is a mixed bag. On a visit to Hawaii, a family member and I went to get tattoos together (we both got one). As walk-ins, you sometimes get what you get, so we decided to schedule an appointment and come back a few days later. When scheduling, there was very little communication about who would be doing the tattoo, what we wanted, and were given an est. of $100-250 for each piece but I had a hope (I mean the reviews are pretty good for this shop, right?!). On the day of the tattoo, my family member and I walked in and learned then who would be doing our tattoos, Tim and another artist. I was surprised to find out, they didn't want to see ID's or make copies, nor talk about the final price of the piece- maybe its just me, but I have 10+ tattoos and that has never happened before. The rest of the experience was-- meh. While my tattoo by Tim turned out nicely, my mother's was a different experience entirely. As I mentioned, there was very little talk about what we wanted, so when we came in, her artist had drawn something way off from our vision. She wanted to change it (badly). We had reference photos and she was ready to collaborate, but he wasn't happy. It was clear after 45 minutes of asking to change things, that he 1) hated doing the design, 2) didn't care or 3) was just plain rude. When they finally agreed on a design, the tattoo process went relatively smoothly, but from across the room, you could hear him mocking the tattoo. When he was done, he literally cleaned it off once and slapped on a sandiderm bandage, giving no care instructions, nothing, and walked out to smoke. Meanwhile, my tattoo was completed after 40 minutes, and I was promptly asked to get off the table, so the next walk-on could use it. After nearly 2.5 hrs, we were both ready to leave, but no one was able to check us out. I finally asked to pay and the female tattoo artist there was able to help us out. My mother was shocked to find out that her 1 hr tattoo (not incl. 45 min of design rework) cost over $500. I know that every tattoo experience is individual, that an artist wants to let their creativity shine, and maybe doing walk-ins or tattoos on tourist's wasn't this tattoo artists thing, but the whole process was just...bad. After years of getting tattoos, I was really disappointed that this was the treatment my mom got, especially when she hasn't been tattooed in nearly 20 years. On a positive note, the lady tattoo artist there was kind, friendly and welcoming. She seemed lovely :)"

"Great place for a tattoo if you're on vacation, I walked in with a basic idea of what I wanted and my artist kaina helped me make it happen. Everyone there was super nice, every art piece in there looked like it was made with passion and care. Kaina did my tattoo in a realism style and for my first tattoo he was careful and made sure I was doing good through the whole process . Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the Waikiki area."
