"I love my hair! I got my hair straightening perm done, and my hair is soft and straight. I couldn't find any salon on maui that could do that. I would diffinetly be flying back to Ava salon to get retouching done when my hair grows back."
"Price: Be aware, they will overcharge you if they can. Ask how much you will be paying in total for anything that you want to do before they start to do your hair. Hair: Ava is a great hair stylist. You can trust her. If you are looking for a good Asian hair stylist and you are ok with their price, go here! I gave 3 stars not because I did not like my hair but because I felt like they should have let me know how much they will charge me. The price they originally told me on the phone and what they charged was different."
"I got a permanent hair straightening here back in 2019 and I loved it. Great quality and reasonable prices. I got another one just this past Friday and yet again, I loved it! The process was around 2 1/2 hours and it was great how they all work together to help do my hair. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. I cannot wait to go back to do my hair when it grows out. Thank you Salon Ava!"

"My hair is soooo straight still! Not sure the woman’s name but she was very in charge and made sure my hair was on point before leaving. Even took another 30 min to fix the ends of my hair after treatment to make sure it was near perfect. My hair is thick ,curly and unruly but she got it to silky smooth and it’s been 3 1/2. Months and still looks great. Also I once did Keratin treatment at a high end salon in Newport Beach and it didn’t last , it was back to unruly in less than a week and fried my hair and that cost 350, this was 199.... soooooo THANK U Ava :) will add photos when I find on phone:)"
