Mezzo Bistro & Bar

"7/19/23. We came in for our 1 year anniversary dinner. Amazing everything. From the atmosphere, of the restaurant to the staff, to the food everything was a bit. We were welcomed right away at the bar and shown our table fast even though the place was packed. Decor was great, lighting great, and the place was very clean. Drink order were taken quick and came out timely. Our glasses were never once empty, and we never felt once like we were looking for our server/waiter. Onto the food, for our starters we got the bruschetta and the escargot. Bruschetta came out first, the bread was soft and every flavor from the tomato to garlic to olive oil came through. Onto the highlight, the escargot was really in a league of its own. Not to take away from any of the other food here but we were really blown away by the texture, and flavor of the escargot. Presentation alone was great, so much so we forgot to take a picture until we were almost completely done. Our entree was a suggestion from our waitress, a mix of the mezzo meatballs with their puttanesca sauce. The meatballs had a great soft texture and worked really well with the rich and robust flavor of the olives in the tomato sauce. We ended the night with their mud pie which was like an ice cream cake, not too rich, not too sweet, it was really great! Suggestions were great and I'd change nothing about the meal, we got the meet one of the owners too, Jun, who was really nice and welcoming. Thanks again!"

"Excellent food. Friendly staff. The surf and turf and duck was one of the best meals on the trip. Plantation iced tea was great. Seems to be a newer restaurant so dont let the limited of numver of reviews fool you.. Service was a little slow with some things but they seemed understaffed and was hustling around from table to table which a lot of places are these days. No major complaints though."

"Located at the old Formaggio in the Market City Shopping Center. A cozy laid back Italian style bistro that serves great food at a good price point. The bar seems to be the buzz and the casual dining room with an upscale vibe will not disappoint you. If the tourists only knew what they were missing. Great deals at great prices despite the modest location outside of Waikiki. Now offering $29 bottle offerings for dinner and whiskey flight specials. A go to place for anyone who enjoys good food and spirited beverages."

"Stopped in here for light appetizers and a few dinks with friends. Everything we ordered was served with meticulous care. I got an Old Fashion and was more than pleased. The apps were on point. Escargot was not a sloppy oily mess, Seafood Trio was an excellent selection, and the Duck was succulent. This place is definitely going to get a few more visits from me. The service is impeccable. This group knows how to deliver a positive culinary experience"

"Found this place that was recommended by a friend Johnny P. Enjoyed our appetizers house salad greens with basil and garlic vinegarette, braised duck, and bruschetta. Dinner short ribs. OMG!! Very tender and delicious. Definitely a place to come back!"
