Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings’ Land Waikoloa

"We recently stayed at Hilton Kings Land Waikoloa Village and were disappointed with our overall experience. The room was unimpressive, with a lousy view, location, and decor. It felt like a significant step down from our stay 14 years ago in the same hotel on a different building. There were also issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Upon arrival, we found a dead cockroach in the hallway, which took housekeeping four days to remove after we informed the staff. Additionally, we had trouble getting enough towels for our family. Most concerning was an accident my son had due to poor pool maintenance. The stairs and area around the slide were very slippery, due to mold buildup. This lack of maintenance resulted in our son getting injured and us losing a significant portion of our vacation time due to hospital visits to get stitches and activity restrictions because of the injure. Management's response to the accident was also inadequate. They sent a security guard who showed a lack of empathy and demanded to see our son to verify the incident, after that, nothing, no calls or messages from management. Overall, the service was poor, and the accident significantly impacted our vacation. As hospitality professionals ourselves, we found this stay to be unacceptable."

"We have been coming to Kings Lands for a decade and the rooms, grounds, and services are just as good as they were on day 1. The main pool is epic and the several other smaller pools are great as well. We enjoyed playing water volleyball and the kids love the 4 water slides. They're open until 10pm which makes for a nice late-night jacuzzi. Would like to see the bar/restaurant open past 5:45pm. The shuttle service around Waikoloa is a really nice option as well as the ability to use the main Hilton Waikoloa hotel facilities at no charge. We love coming here and will continue for years to come."

"This resort has so many pools and water slides and activities like yoga and crafts. There's an adult only pool and the drinks are great. Food is really good too. Just be prepared for the price tag. And unfortunately the bar closes at 6!"

"We love staying here. The location is quiet but the resort has a great pool area with several hot tubs. Our unit was nice. Kitchen is ready for cooking with pans and dishes. Bathrooms were very nice. Love the lanai area. There are daily activities you can participate in for adults and children. Staff is always so helpful and accommodating to whatever you need. We took advantage of the shuttle several times to go to the King and Queen shops. We’re already counting the days until our return"

"We stayed here. Nice place to stay, visit and relax. The pool, bar and food and waterfalls and slides were awesome. We were there in the winter months but still warm enough outside to swim. The sun went down at 6pm so everything closed at 6pm which was disappointing especially when you want to just relax and have a couple drinks after having a long 6 hour flight from the states. Luckily it was still open by the time we arrived but it closed 30 minutes after we arrived and got checked in to the resort. When they closed down we had to go somewhere else to have a few drinks to unwind from the long flight. The next bar was about 20 minutes down the road which was lava lava and it was open til midnight and got to sit on the beach listening to the waves crash on the shore. Peaceful and relaxing."
