"I came here because one of my relatives had hyped this place up, and boy, I am glad I did! I got there a little after the lunch rush started, but the wait was not terrible. I ordered a plate lunch and was impressed by the different dishes that were offered. Most of it was pretty good (the pork and eggplant was swimming in oil however) and it was a lot cheaper than I expected it to be. The store is very cool, offering a wide selection of various items for seemingly reasonable prices. I came here on my last day on the island, but I have no doubt that I will return to TJ's once I return to Maui."
"Big Japanese market, especially for a small island. Very nice selection of staples and canned goods and freshly made bento. Not a big selection of produce though. Fresh poké, deli counter and paper products. Helpful, friendly employees. Plenty of parking, just a little bit out of the way."
