"This place has definitely gotten higher scale in the last 30 years. Fairly pricey but gorgeous pieces."
"They gave everyone in the store a lei, which was neat. They have a lot of Hawaiian gear and a wide range of sizes in clothing. And they are local. They asked me for my id when I gave them my credit card. I thought that was pretty cool as nobody does that anymore, and they should. She said they were old school... I like old school."
"Purchased a shirt and wore it to a luau only two bring it back to my timeshare and wash it so I could wear it again on this trip. Pulled her out of the washer and put it on a hanger to dry only to notice that it was already falling apart around the collar. Tried to return the shirt within 24 hours only to be told that without the receipt and since it had been washed and did not have the tag, they could not exchange. My family has been visiting this island for over 20 years and always visit the store to make purchases . My family spent over $500 in the store that day. Next year when we return our money will be going elsewhere. I do not recommend purchasing from this store."
"We waited until the last day of our three week trip to buy family souvenirs at Hilo Hattie. They had a great selection and good prices. We had absolutely no trouble finding what we needed and the staff was absolutely fantastic. We questioned shopping when a big cruise ship had let out, but it was still a fine time. Would definitely return here."
