"Good Mexican food that is really Mexican, not an island hybrid version. All delicious, especially the pork!! The rice and salsa could use a touch more heat and the guacamole needs a bit of garlic salt and lime. Honestly, would eat here again to try more dishes!!"

"This was an exceptional experience from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. Easily the most impressive dining experience I’ve had on the island. This is a new bar so they’re still working on getting a liquor license, but the server at the bar Chris was incredibly accommodating and personable. He started us off with the chips and salsa while we decided on entree. For such a simple appetizer, the salsa blew my mind. This place could easily gain recognition from the chips and salsa alone. We ordered the chicken appetizer to split as well as the burrito (plenty large enough for 3 adults). Ingredients were fresh and recipes made it clear the chef has a passion for his work. Although this place has only been open a few weeks, I expect it to be a staple of the island during our next visit to Maui. "Great new restaurant in West Maui just north of Black Rock in Kaanapali. Server was friendly and helpful with the menu. Currently serving mock tails but liquor license is coming. But don’t let that stop you. Mexican food was very good and portions were appropriate to price. Atmosphere is clean and home style. Will come again on our next visit to support our West Maui friends"

"If you’re like me, you always have a craving for some delicious Mexican food. Sergio’s just opened January 3rd and you’d think they were open for years. The wait staff were kind and attentive to our needs. The restaurant was packed and the Mexican food was outstanding. This will be a staple for our family for all trips to Maui in the future. The portions are enormous for the price and the food was very authentic. They currently are waiting on their liquor license so will make you a $9 “mocktail”. The best part is it is BYOB right now so we ran next door to the supermarket and bought a bottle of tequila to add to our margaritas which were excellent. If you have the chance to meet Sergio, ask him about his life story that brought him to Maui. It’s the true American Dream! Thank you for bringing great Mexican food to Maui! Don’t let the few reviews right now deter you from a great family restaurant."
