"Such good food! Huge portions! All vegan! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! We always snorkel at Kapalua Bay (the best spot) and A'a Roots is the perfect place to come to for lunch after. There's refreshing açaí bowls, smoothies and large food portions like salads and wraps and bowls and toasts. The locally made tempeh is so good, would recommend adding it if you're looking for more protein on a salad or something. You can sit inside or outside, there's a water cooler to fill your bottle. I'm the only vegan in my family and everyone was happy here. Get the passionfruit raw cheesecake, my sister (who's a baker) cleaned the plate and we bought two to go."
"Excellent food with beautiful presentation. The soba bowl is our favorite, could eat that every night all week, great peanut sauce. Baked goods are nice too. The only disappointment was the breakfast burrito, which was bland. Good prices (for Maui), great service, works for takeout or eat in, although presentation is pretty enough that I recommend eating there. Very Hawaiian presentation with starfruit and flowers and such. The tables outside the restaurant are numerous and nice if you stay away from the bus stop, and the area in the restaurant is nice if they aren’t busy."
"My family and I liked this place so much we came back for breakfast 3 days in a row. They have delicious savory dishes and açaí bowls too. They also have a box of toys for small kids to play with (my little one was so chill)."
"A wonderful little place for some nice vegetarian, and vegan food. They serve Açaí bowls, juices, salads, etc. Ordered the Pep In-Yo Step juice, Avocado Toast, and a Naked Summer Buddha Bowl. Everything tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend the place."
