"A friend recommended La Ciccia Italian Fusion and I’m glad we dined there. When I ate there a few years back I wasn’t impressed. However after eating the Kinoko pasta and Clams Casino, I’ve concluded that they are one of the best Italian restaurants east of Waikiki (besides Kapa Hale). "Food was wonderful but service was lacking. Food: We split a delicious chicken piccata (there was plenty for two) and a fresh garden salad (there was plenty of that as well), and the tiramisu dessert was excellent. Service: We were seated at the time of our reservation, with warm bread and cold water waiting on the table. Our order was taken right away and the salad and entree arrived in reasonable times. The problem is that we never heard from our waitress again, who was busy talking to customers whom she seemed to know well. No one checked on us or our meals, and I had to go up to the bar to request another glass of wine because we weren't being monitored. We were only able to order the tiramisu by asking the bus boy when he was cleaning our table. Our waitress finally returned at the end of our meal only to present the check. BTW, the prices are quite reasonable by Honolulu standards. Despite the imperfect service, we'd return again because the food was so well presented, with an eye toward working our way through the entire menu."

"We had seen this place while actually dining else where and had a huge craving for an Italian dessert. So my first experience was stopping by and grabbing a tiramisu which was excellent. That first experience was great and the staff was warm and inviting so naturally we had to go back for dinner. Took a group of friends here from the mainland for the true test at dinner. We made a reservation just to be sure we got seated in a timely manner and for that day we probably didn't need it but always good to have it. We were seated right away after our vax card check of course. The place is very clean and inviting and we sat down for dinner. Friendly staff and everyone was masked and protected even in the kitchen. It's BYOB so if you want wine with your meal feel free to bring the bottles. They don't charge a cork fee and provide glasses and open it for you. We ordered some apps and dinner and everything came out perfectly and was delicious. I had the lasagna and while it was good I definitely think I'll branch out and explore the rest of the menu. Everyone definitely enjoyed their meal and dinner was a success. Def stop by and give them a try."
