Curry Ya Las Vegas

"Great Japanese curry. Very close to how I had it in Japan. Very reasonably priced as well. I had the organic Chicken Katsu curry no spice, I added chicken in the curry and cheese as well. 9.5/10. Highly recommend … just a little bit of a pain in the butt getting a seat because it’s a food hall with multiple restaurants. However it’s worth going to because you can get some delicious ice cream and pancake treats from Hoho Crunch in the same food hall"

"First time at Curry Ya, and I definitely plan on more visits. Curry Ya is in the new Cheongdam Food Hall, so you can go to multiple stands, order food/drinks and get numbers from them, sit down at a table, and each place will bring you your order. Since this was my first time, I ordered what I do every time I try a new curry place and got the "Japanese Pork Katsu Curry." When you order, they say Step 1: What spice level? There are 4 spice levels from Regular (0) to Hot (3). I ordered level 2 (Spicy). Then you pick your protein (in my case, the pork katsu), and lastly, they'll ask if you want any add ons (of which I did not avail). When the food was brought to the table, I didn't even know you got miso soup and a side of cabbage with dressing, so that was a pleasant surprise. The pork katsu was nice and tender with a good, crispy crust. The curry had good flavor and when I dipped my pork into it, it clung well. It's not my top curry in Vegas, but it's very good. The spice level was definitely not as spicy as I was hoping, so next time I'm definitely going for level 3. All in all, my entire meal was very good, and the portions were very filling. The value was most definitely there as I got everything above mentioned and ended up pretty full, all for less than $12. If you're in the area, and hungry for curry, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Oh, regarding beverages, I believe they have bottles and cans for sale, but I got a green tea latte from another of the stands (Teddy Butter House)."

"Ordered the chicken katsu curry medium spice. Pretty good overall at a reasonable price if you keep the add-ons to a minimum. 4 spice levels were available, none, mild, medium and hot. The curry included a shredded cabbage with dressing and a cup of miso soup. I could have used more curry for my rice."

"we ordered the pork cheese katsu curry and the beef udon. it was pretty cheap considering it was 2 of us and totaled to $23. the pork katsu was good but the pork cutlet was pretty small, and i wasn’t a fan of the american cheese, i think it would taste better with mozzarella. the beef udon was really good and flavorful! we got medium spice level for both dishes and it was perfect amount of mild spice. i’d totally get food from this place again, the curry and the broth was yummy."

"For dine in, you place your order at the counter and they provide you with a number tent to bring to your table and one of their team members will bring the food out to you. For the chicken katsu curry plate, it came with a salad and miso soup. Portion size is generous. For the tonkatsu udon, the broth is super yummy! Portion size is perfect. They have snacks available for purchase at their counter as well, which are comparably priced to Asian markets. The wait wasn’t too bad, but we came during a rainy day so the food hall wasn’t overly packed. You can clear of your plates at the trash bin and leave them at the counter above it, but we were told by the server that brought our food to just leave them on the table. So we did. Thankfully, I did add gratuity at the counter when we placed our order."
