"The office emanates an aura of antiquity, enveloped in subdued darkness and a palpable sense of age, a sentiment not alleviated by the outdated equipment within. The amiable demeanor of the staff does provide a semblance of warmth. The doctor and his team exhibit punctuality and affable bedside manners, yet the doctor himself imparts an impression of contemplating retirement, perhaps already with one foot within that threshold. Across multiple visits, each necessitating the dulling of sensation, my experiences were varied. In the initial encounter, the doctor persuasively advocated for a numbing-free approach, drawing parallels with purportedly stoic patients. Alas, I did not align with that cohort and endured acute discomfort. Subsequently, the application of numbing cream in the second visit, coupled with a judicious wait before administering local anesthesia, showcased a more considered approach. Regrettably, the third visit witnessed a hurried progression from numbing cream to local anesthesia, resulting in excruciating pain. In light of two out of three encounters marred by distressing pain, I find it challenging to extend a recommendation for entrusting one's oral care to this dentist, unless endowed with a notably high pain threshold and an appreciation for expeditious medical procedures."
