"In Feb 2020 I contacted Jason Acevedo's office for an estimate for a post and implant crown ( implant in the jaw already in place by oral surgeon). Jason's receptionist (Mary) quoted me a price range of $900 - $1200 totol out the door. When I made the appointment a few days later I again asked her for the quote and she ( Mary ) again confirmed the price not to exceed $1200. I made the appointment and had an office consult and impression done on Mar 4, 2020 ( $103 charge ). The Covid epidemic hit and the office was closed for three months. When I returned on Aug 13, 2020 Dr Acevedo's staff forgot that the impression had already been done and Dr Acevedo chose another method for building a temporary crown and rescheduled me. When I checked out the receptionist ( Mary ) ran a visa charge of $2,176. on my Visa for the crown and abutment !!!! When I questioned her as to what happened to the original quoted price of $900- $1200 she said she never quoted me that amount. I reminded her she definitely quoted me that price range "twice" and we disagreed. I had her reverse the charges and went on my way. I followed up with Dr Acevedo regarding the mis-quote incident and he said there was nothing he could do to honor the mis-quote. I explained to Dr Acevedo that I know what I heard as a quote (twice) !! Jason Acevedo has a good reputation as a dentist - but his staffing is poorly trained and dishonest. How unfortunate that he wouldn't honor the quote his staff (twice) made. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE ! THIS REPORT MAKES ME SAD ....."
"After my father retired from Dentistry I had to find a dentist for my family of four. We have had an exceptional experience with Dr. Acevedo. I highly recommend his office. Great staff and all around good experience."
