"Ordered a wheelset and free wheel online. I try to buy local when I can, I sent the price to my local shop and they said the price from Carson City was a very good deal and I should buy from them. Keep in mind I do all my own wrenching so it's not like I was buying parts to have the shop install. I placed the order and the items arrived in less than a week in good condition. It took a few days for it to ship but I could have paid for for shipping if I needed it sooner. I went with the base shipping cost of $15"

"Attempted to order online. (I see they still have their advisory of lousy NC weather up) No changing status of the order a week into the waiting game. Should have read the reviews before buying from this scam sight. Refund has been pending just as long as the never ending waiting to ship screen. Save yourself the hassle, believe the low scoring feedback. It's crazy this place is still in business. Makes me regret trying new companies online."

"BUYER BEWARE !!! Carson city bike shop absolutely sucks. Not only do they falsely advertise, the customer service is trash. I called to make a return of an item, and was given the run around and they still have not accepted a return, on an item that they sent me that was completely different from the picture on their site. I have never experienced such disrespect from a company in my life. Do yourself a favor and order from some place else."

"My wife and I shopped multiple bike shops in Carson City and Reno in search of E-bikes. We decided to purchase two Concept City bikes from Carson City Bike shop. We chose this shop for several reasons. From the time we first went in, we have received outstanding customer service. They worked with us to find the right bikes for us and allowed us to test ride them. We chose the City bikes with 500 watt Bafang motors and we’re very pleased. Although the motors are Chinese, the bikes are built in Carson City. We brought them back in today to have some adjustments made and received excellent service again. We also purchased two rear bags and a bike rack for our car. Very happy with our choices. I’m afraid I can’t remember all the employees names, but they all did a good job. I do recall that we talked with Russell the first visit and Jeremy several times after that."

"This store is competing for the worst experience I've ever had to endure while making an online purchase. Please read the other reviews and don't think it will be different for you because they won't be. I placed an order a week and a half ago and received a message the following day saying my order is awaiting shipment that should take 1-4 days. It has now been 8 days that it has been awaiting shipment with no more progress. It's still awaiting shipment. I've sent numerous messages to them with no response or acknowledgement. At this point my only option is to pay to have the charges on my card reversed because it's obvious they just like to scam people. Don't be fooled by the occasional good review. There is a reason they have so many bad ones. They deserve them."
