"July 2021 Quoted 4-6mo turn around on piano refinishing Accepted my piano and $1800 deposit, cashed the check After 12/21 - Called every 2 months, same story Short staffed, high turnover rate, large backlog of projects 8/3/22 one of the owners, Ben, left me a recorded voicemail which said there were just a few pianos ahead of mine and it would be another 2-3 months. It's now a year later, and they do not have the courtesy to even return calls or provide updates. Poor communication, does not return calls, emails, IM's Voicemail is always full, cannot leave messages 8/4/23 - after more than 2 years, still no communication, no piano, did not return my deposit At what point is this appropriate for civil action?"

"I was really excited to find a local piano restoration/service in my hometown of Lakeville. Sadly, I must give this company a thumbs down in customer service. I have called twice for a paino tuning and some minor repair. Both requests went unanswered as if they just forgot about me. The second time I called I thought it was strange in that instead of making a firm date to tune my piano they put me on a list and never got back to me. Not OK. I found someone else to tune and service my baby grand. These guys maybe good at restoration, but from experience, everything else is sub par. Recommendation, find someone else. UPDATE: Tim, the owner called me several times after I posted this feedback form. He felt terrible about the situation and apologized repeatedly. I misunderstood the procedure Ackerman Piano sales and service had in place for tuning. Tim promply took care of me and offered me a free tuning by an expert whom I felt very comfortable with and will most likely use in the near future! Thank you so much for caring enough about your business to take care of your customers!"

"Did a nice job refinishing a dented grand but the tech, who was paid to reset the keys left it like this. He drove an hour and a half one way to do a half-hearted job."
