I found my device's specs online, and it looks like I can charge my laptop through the USB-c port. Steve also gave great advice - if you purchased your device on a credit card, check to see if the credit card offers an extended warranty for these types of purchases. Mine didn't, but I would have had no idea about those card benefits if Steve hadn't mentioned it."
