"I simply cannot speak highly enough of Jonathan! My engagement ring is my grandmother's wedding ring, who passed away in 2018. When it came time to get the ring appraised I figured I would go to wherever my grandma and step-grandpa had originally gotten the ring, but little did I know that she had worked with Jonathan on many projects before. My situation was a little tricky because I currently live outside of the state of Minnesota, and I was only home for the weekend when I had called him. Despite the fact that I called Jonathan super last minute, he was more than happy to accommodate me and was able to meet with me to get my rings appraised. He met with my fiancé and I that weekend, gave us the appraisal within a couple of days, and was very kind and considerate throughout the whole process. But that's not where the story ends. As I mentioned, my grandma had done business with Jonathan over the years and had given Jonathan several diamonds to make a new custom piece of jewelry a few years back. Jonathan gave my grandma the estimate but she told Jonathan to hang on to the diamonds until she was ready to proceed. Jonathan was unaware my grandma had passed away until I reached out to him about the appraisal. When Jonathan met me and my fiancé at the coffee shop, he surprised us by bringing my grandma’s diamonds and giving them to me. Our family was unaware these diamonds even existed, and were so happy to have Jonathan give them to us!"

"I have known Jonathan for over 25 years. He is very knowledgeable and has a great business as a Private Jeweler. My first transaction with Jonathan came from a photo I had saved from an American Express rewards catalog. I asked Jonathan if he could make that exact ring and sure as sh*t he nailed it. I had done extensive research into the gem and became knowledgeable about quality and pricing. Jonathan was able to provide a beautiful ring that exceeded my expectations. We proceeded to work together on this custom project and Jonathan involved me at multiple stages of approval and “sign off”. Being able to see the wax model and also select my perfect gem from several meetings, gave me the ability and confidence to make sure I had an exact match to the picture I provided him. "I have known Jonathan for about 10 years now, we work in the same office building. Roughly 5 years ago I told him that my boyfriend and I were talking marriage and described my dream engagement ring. With my boyfriend’s permission, I gave Jonathan his contact information so they could be in touch. Two years had passed when Jonathan came up to me at my desk and showed me this gorgeous engagement ring and asked me if I would say “yes” to it. Of course my answer was yes, but I told him that it was more than I would have ever asked for and that it had to be out of our budget. He assured me that it was in our budget, and so we proceeded to put the ring on my finger and took pictures of it to send to my boyfriend. Jonathan even went as far as to drive to my boyfriend’s work to show him the ring in person. My boyfriend called me after to make sure this was the ring I wanted, to which I assured him the ring was amazing! Now, three years later my boyfriend passed away unexpectedly. I sent Jonathan a text on Monday August 19t, 2019 asking if the ring was still available, explaining what had happened and wanting/needing to get the ring. He told me he wasn’t sure if it had been sold, but would check and get back to me. It turns out the ring had sold but that the new customer had not yet redesigned the ring. Jonathan explained the story to his customer and asked to buy the ring back., the customer agreed and long story short, Jonathan was able to get the ring to me by Friday August 23rd , 2019, before I left to go out of town. Jonathan even assured me that no one had worn the ring since it had been on my finger. He really worked hard to make sure I could get my new engagement ring before the interment of my boyfriend (I guess it should be fiancé now) and his celebration of life held this past month.
