"The Doctors and dental assistants are all absolutely amazing, but they stand by there front office manager who is an absolute nightmare. After seeing all 4 of my children and sealants, she tried to call me up front and tell me I didn’t have active insurance on 1 of my 4 kids. I knew that wasn’t accurate and told her I did. She became extremely rude and combative and well then so did I. She had the assistant stop doing my sons sealants and told us we needed to leave. I told her no problem and we would never be back, after being patients for almost 14 yrs. I then received a certified letter saying they were “firing” us as patients and that we would be receiving a bill for not having insurance. Today, 4 months later I received an explanation of benefits that all 4 of my kids visit was 100% covered. All this for what? She has was too much of a power trip and it shows. If she would have actually called they would have told her she was incorrect as I called when we left and it showed all 4 were active."

My son was scared due to his prior experience but from the beginning The Smile Shop put him at ease. Now neither of my kids dread going to the dentist. Thank you Smile Shop for making this happen. There sometimes can be a wait here, but that is because they ensure every patient gets the time they need."
"My 3 children have been going to the Los Altos location since they opened several years ago. We have NEVER had a bad experience. None of my children are fearful of going to the dentist due to the patience and care they have gotten here. Two of my children started getting care here starting at two years old. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting kind, patient care for young children."
